As Italians, we can confidently say that Dough Pizza Restaurant in Bath offers the most delicious pizza we've tried in the UK—remarkably similar to what we're used to in Northern Italy. The dough is thin, incredibly light, and perfectly baked, making it easy to enjoy a whole pizza without feeling too full.
One of the standout features is their variety of sourdough bases, each crafted with care, offering a range of options to suit every preference. The gluten-free pizzas are exceptional—honestly, the best we’ve ever tasted, with no compromise on flavor or texture.
The toppings are fresh and varied, allowing for a truly personalized pizza experience. Combined with the friendly and relaxed atmosphere, Dough Pizza is the perfect spot for an authentic, satisfying Italian meal. We can’t recommend it enough!

A lovely restaurant. I had a beautiful glass of Merlot (I’ll be trying to buy some of the same), olives with little biscuits, and a pepperoni pizza, with vegan cheese as I’m lactose intolerant.
To be honest, the olives and the wine were the starts of the show! But the pizza was superb as well.
This all came in at £36 (it was a large glass of wine!).
Fantastic. When I’m next in Bath, I’ll probably return.

Loved the attentive service, the ‘Vegetariana Pizza’ I ordered took around 30 minutes to be served. The sourdough base was super yummy, not too thin and baked to perfection.
The toppings and the sauce was decent, nothing to drool or rave about. Fresh ingredients off course were used.

After visiting twice, I must say I love this pizzeria. Even my Italian friends from different regions approved the authenticity of the food, which says a lot. Their menu offers a wide range of options, including various pizza bases to cater to all tastes and dietary requirements, such as allergies. I’ve tried their ham & mushroom pizza, Calzone, and Margherita on different bases, and each one was freshly cooked to perfection. The crust is never burnt, and I love the thickness and evenly expanded dough, with a perfect balance of crust to center.
The atmosphere is lovely, making it ideal for both dates and friendly meetups. Once, we visited as a group of eight without a reservation, and they kindly accommodated us with nice tables. However, as it can get quite busy, I suggest booking in advance. The wine menu looks varied, though I haven’t tried it myself. You can even see their oven, which adds to the cool vibe. The waitstaff are polite and friendly, delivering excellent service.
I would definitely go back!

Saw great reviews for this place and decided to have lunch here. The sourdough pizza was not as good as I was expecting it to be. The pasta was also very average. The beet root salad didn't have much beet roots. Service was also not very attentive. Food and drinks came quickly though.
